We hosted a booth in Play-2-Earn expo in W Bangkok Hotel, Thailand, from 10th–13th August, and it gave us another chance to show off GEMS NFT Marketplace demo and the potentials of its NFT rental system. GEMS also engaged with both Web2 and Web3 brands, including the Director Corporate Development of Binance Adrian Ho, investment partner with crypto.com Capital Jon Russell, Head of Blockchain Razer Lawrence Lin, and entrepreneur in residence of Animoca Brands Rich Robinson. Our logo graced the W Hotel building, bringing us more publicity.

Speech and Panel Discussion

GEMS CEO, Andy Koh, keynoted the Day 2 of the Play-to-Earn Expo as the speaker. Andy spread the GEMS gospel as the first-ever Esports Blockchain Platform and a bridge between Web2 and Web3 — bringing a new era to Esports.

Andy also joined a panel discussion on “How Esports is taking over GameFi” along with Head of Ampverse Sascha Jochum. Jonathan Phan from OKX, Vern Bautista — VP of Creator Programs Division at Tier One Entertainment, and Tobias Bauer from Blockchain Founders Fund also joined the panel discussion. The panel members make up the projects pioneering the revolution of Esports, a transition from the conventional Esports industry to the Web3 space.

We look forward to participating in more conventions and hosting Web2 and Web3 tournaments to introduce more traditional gamers to GameFi. Stay tuned!
