👉 Hey, GEMSTERS, February was a pretty jam-packed month filled with just as many partnerships and developments as chocolates and hearts!
We have a lot to cover, so let’s get down to it:
⚡️ Partnerships:
There were new collaboration announcements all month long including CryptoVN, Battle SAGA, Dreamboat, BMW capital, Plutus VC, Project Seed, xHashtag, and last but not least, Dreams Quest.
⚡️ Events & Contests:
Our first ever Twitter and Discord Pop Quiz Campaign was a huge success, along with our Design a GEMS Valentines Contest. We read through some amazing, well-thought-out answers and saw some incredible, creative designs. Thank you to all participants and congrats again to our winners! Twitter Polls revealed where our GEMSTERS think the future of Gaming and Social Media is heading and it’s all GameFi and SocialFi from here on out! Thanks for voting, guys! From the 6–12th, we revisited the Binance Live event and looked back on some of the defining moments from it. The month also consisted of AMAs with CryptoVN, teh moonwalker, Gains Associates, Kommunitas, Arcade Network, MetaVisa, FOTA, and Blocksport.
⚡️ Product Updates
CEO, Andy Koh shared a word on the current development stage of the project during an AMA with Crypto VN:
“​​GEMS from a development/product view is currently focusing on the platform launcher, which will be made available with a usable NFT Rental & Subscription based marketplace. Demo is on target for Q2 which will be made available online via https://thegems.gg/”
Within the P2E Arena, the IN-built EXP system and Achievement System will be updated to allow gamers to gain more experience and rewards. The Exclusive GEMS Battle Pass will allow GEMS users to purchase and access 30 levels of paid content. Each Level rewards the user with exclusive ecosystem benefits, as well as NFTs. Rewards include free rentals, a deduction on rental fees and free passes to create a community or join a tournament.
