GEMS announces the launch of its TGE (originally scheduled for August) will be delayed until further notice. GEMS have carefully and deliberately pondered this decision, and have ultimately decided that it is in the best interest of the community, investors and partners to delay our IEO in this unfavorable market situation.
While the first half of 2022 has put a lot of strain on many crypto projects, GEMS has been able to continue pushing ahead raising funds and developing its platform. Many coins are down more than 50% from their all-time highs in late 2021, and we have little foresight as to when this situation might evolve. While there have been encouraging surges in recent weeks, industry experts say markets could fall even further before any sustained recovery.
However, blockchain technology has never been more popular and mainstream. It’s a hot topic not only amongst investors, but in popular culture too, thanks to many like-minded blockchain event organizers such as Singapore Blockchain Week, Web 3 Con, Play 2 Earn Expo, Token 2049 and many others. In many ways, 2022 was a “breakthrough” year for GEMS ESPORTS 3.0 BLOCKCHAIN PLATFORM. 2022 saw GEMS formulate its master plan around Web 2.5.
Web 2.5 allows GEMS to migrate Web 2 gamers to our Web 3 platform, powered by GEMS ESPORTS 3.0 BLOCKCHAIN PLATFORM, through recently launched O2O Esports Tournaments. GEMS has already gathered several high-net-worth eSports athletes in our ecosystem.

Few local authorities and governing associations, including 31st SEA GAMES Gold Medalist Esports Team/Organization/Players, will be invited to speak at this event and share their experience and success stories. GEMS currently has over 100+ ecosystem partners from Gamefi, Esports, Metaverse & Socialfi. We believe there is enormous value bringing these partners together through an event focused on B2B and B2C networking, in order to bridge these projects to Web 2.0 gamers during the event. All of these events, initiatives, partner discussions and more will bring significant value to GEMS.
Mr. Yuen Wong, co-founder at GEMS expressed his ongoing belief that GEMS ESPORTS 3.0 BLOCKCHAIN PLATFORM will be the dominant player in the space, and that with laser focus execution the team at GEMS is the best one to make it happen. Our Esports module will be completely ready using blockchain to distribute prizes and record maintenance with an auto-scoring feature. Thereafter, we will release our Esports fantasy league and introduce “game to win” prediction games, including on 1v1, pvp modes etc. We also have confirmed listings ready on some of the Top 10 exchanges, but as the market currently doesn’t favor IEOs, we will keep those relationships warm and scheduled once the markets are back.
GEMS is also thrilled to announce that we have some extremely exciting developments implemented for GEMS ESPORTS 3.0 BLOCKCHAIN PLATFORM. These will propel the speed at which we can get our technology to the gamers, and eventually help our current partners to outreach to targeted mass gamer’s communities who need it most.
Also, during recent times, we have received interest to accommodate a global leader in Gaming Infrastructure coming onboard in support of helping GEMS ESPORTS 3.0 BLOCKCHAIN PLATFORM in its Global Ambitions.
